In a key partnership with CHAS, NIAC provides extended case management services to CHAS clients in North Idaho, making our services well-rounded and complete.
Advocacy: NIAC seeks to promote just and compassionate public policies regarding issues of HIV/AIDS. To that end, NIAC engages individual health care providers, the region of North Idaho, and it's communities, the state of Idaho, and with friends and allies, national issues of concern, including funding, civil and human rights, health care and it's access and availability.
Awareness: Many people in North Idaho think HIV cannot affect them here. NIAC seeks to raise the conscious awareness of the citizenry, making clear that HIV is indeed a present danger and health threat. Through health fairs, presentations and lectures, forums and panel discussions, media outreach, and public relations campaigns, NIAC raises the awareness of North Idaho to the presence of HIV/AIDS.
